KATHMANDU: The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee under the National Assembly is set to hold a meeting today at Singha Durbar at 11 am to discuss policy issues related to national parks.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will include discussions with key stakeholders on resolving existing policy challenges. Invited participants include the Director General of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), the Director of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal, and the Chair of the Federation of community Forestry Users, Nepal.

The discussion aims to address regulatory concerns, conservation strategies, and the role of local communities in managing national parks, reflecting the government’s commitment to sustainable environmental policies.
