Bijukchhe urges cadres to give up individual interest

BHAKTAPUR: Chairman of the Nepal Workers and Peasant Party (NWPP), Narayan Man Bijukchhe, has urged the party leaders and cadres to give up individual interest before society and country.

Collective wellbeing helps prosper country, he reminded. In the ongoing eighth general convention of the party, Chairman Bijukchhe viewed a real communist leader thinks for the holistic change in a country rather than his/her family and relatives.

“Devotion and sacrifice are essential for anyone to be communist. Living for a society creates equality. Establishment of socialism needs to be ultimate goal,” he instructed, urging the party leaders and cadres to follow the same path.

Any activity that jeopardizes country and people should not be tolerated, according to him.

After the orientation provided by Chairman Bijukchhe, the convention held a closed session where chiefs of district, province and centre levels presented reports, according to central member, Saroj Gosain.

Today, the third day of the general convention, party secretary Prem Suwal is presenting a report.

The leaders will discuss the report in length. Some 300 general convention representatives from 50 districts are attending the event that lasts till next day.
