Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party’s 8th general convention begins today



BHALTAPUR: The Eighth General Convention of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party is beginning today.

The party stated that the general convention will continue till March 3. The party’s central committee member Sarojraj Gosain said that the general convention would approve various agendas after holding intensive discussions on national and international issues.

Representatives, observers and cadres from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and all seven provinces from across the country would take part in the general convention.

According to Gosain, a rally with cultural demonstrations will be started at 10:00 this morning from Kamalbinayak to Suryabinayak in Bhaktapur to Koteshwor in Kathmandu before converting into an inaugural session at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur at 1:00 this afternoon.

Narayanman Bijukchhe has been leading the party since its establishment in 2031 BS.
