Prachanda says awareness campaign will address people’s concerns

MORANG: Maoist Center Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ emphasized the significance of the awareness campaign focusing on the East-West postal highway, stating that it will help understand the issues faced by the people, particularly in the southern region.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the Press Center Nepal, Morang branch, today, Dahal expressed his belief that the campaign would address the concerns of indigenous, national, and Madheshi communities and lead to initiatives for solving their problems.

He further mentioned that the awareness campaign is crucial for economic development, increasing production, and promoting good governance. The campaign, which stretches from Mechi to Mahakali, is seen as a step towards creating a more prosperous and well-governed country.

Dahal also claimed that the people are excited about the campaign and reaffirmed that the Maoists are at the forefront of bringing change to the nation.

He argued that the establishment of a directly elected chief executive would help end political anomalies and fulfill the people’s aspirations for peace and prosperity.
