Gold prices rise by Rs 700



KATHMANDU: Fluctuations in the international market have led to a rise in gold prices in the Nepali market.

Today, gold has increased by Rs 700 per tola, with the price reaching Rs 169,400 per tola. On Monday, the price was Rs 168,700 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remains stable at Rs 1,970 per tola.

In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 2,914 per ounce today. The changes in local gold prices are largely influenced by global market trends.
