ANFA completes preparations for four-nation international women’s football tournament



KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced that all preparations for the upcoming four-nation international women’s football tournament have been completed.

The tournament will take place from March 4 to 8 at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor.

At a press conference today, ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah confirmed that Nepal, along with Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, and Lebanon, will compete in this inaugural event.

Shah also shared that the tournament’s ticketing rights have been sold for Rs 13.5 million, while the broadcasting rights were secured for Rs 6.6 million.

Ticket prices have been set at Rs 1,000 for VIP seats and Rs 500 for general seating.

The participating teams will train at the ANFA headquarters in Satdobato and the Nepal Army sports ground in Bhadrakali.

The estimated budget for organizing the tournament is approximately Rs 25.56 million.
