KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today, with the value of the US dollar increasing.
The exchange rates for currencies such as the Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Qatari Riyal and others have also risen compared to the previous day. However, some currencies have remained stable.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at 138 rupees 23 paisa, while the selling rate is 138 rupees 83 paisa.
The buying rate for the Euro is 143 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 143 rupees 68 paisa.
Similarly, the UK Pound Sterling is being bought at 169 rupees 15 paisa and sold at 169 rupees 89 paisa, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of 151 rupees 70 paisa and a selling rate of 152 rupees 36 paisa.
The Australian Dollar is being bought at 85 rupees 94 paisa and sold at 86 rupees 32 paisa.
For ten units of Japanese Yen, the buying rate is 8 rupees 86 paisa, and the selling rate is 8 rupees 90 paisa, while the Chinese Yuan is being bought at 18 rupees 98 paisa and sold at 19 rupees 06 paisa.
The Saudi Riyal has a buying rate of 36 rupees 84 paisa and a selling rate of 37 rupees . The Qatari Riyal is being traded at 37 rupees 91 paisa for buying and 38 rupees 08 paisa for selling.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised as needed.
Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and updated figures can be found on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
