President announces winter session of parliament on January 31



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has called the winter session of both houses of the federal parliament.

According to the Office of the President, the session has been summoned on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

The session is scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, January 31, at the parliament building in New Baneshwar, following the Cabinet’s recommendation on January 21.
