Socialist Front to hold grand rally in Kathmandu on Jan 29



KATHMANDU: The Socialist Front has announced plans to organize a grand rally in Kathmandu on January 29, as decided during its meeting at the Unified Socialist Party office in Aloknagar on Wednesday.

Unified Socialist spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma informed that the rally is part of efforts to reinvigorate the Front, which had slowed down due to the busy schedules of its leaders.

The meeting highlighted moving forward with renewed vigor and finalizing a report reviewing the Front’s activities and progress.

This report will be submitted to the top leadership by January 25.

The meeting also raised concerns about the government’s recent actions, suspecting it of bypassing Parliament and advancing on an autocratic path through ordinances.

The Front plans to address these concerns through its rally and upcoming programs.

The previous meeting of the Samajwadi Front was held on July 21, 2024.
