Man arrested with narcotics and rhino horn in Jhapa

JHAPA: Narayan Ramdham, a resident of North Mendabari, West Bengal, India, was arrested in possession of illegal narcotics and an object resembling rhino horn in Jhapa.

According to Jhapa Police, Ramdham was arrested from the Himalaya Guest House in Kakarbhitta, Mechinagar Municipality-6.

During a raid on room number 102, authorities seized 1.7 kg of a substance resembling rhino horn, 2.8 grams of a heroin-like substance, 144 tablets of controlled drug ” Pyeevon Spas Plus,” digital scale, and two mobile phones.

The police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
