UML endorses 14-point proposal with recommendations for the government



KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN (UML) has concluded its eighth Central Committee meeting, passing a 14-point contemporary proposal after three days of discussions.

The meeting, held at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, concluded on Tuesday, as confirmed by Head of the Publicity Department, Rajendra Gautam.

The proposal includes suggestions for the government under the leadership of Chair KP Sharma Oli, outlining priorities for effective governance.

Additionally, the meeting expressed well wishes for strengthening the understanding and cooperation among ruling coalition partners.

The party urged the government to designate the decade of the 2080s as a period of prosperity and job creation, emphasizing long-term development goals.
