Google could release Android 10 today

CALIFORNIA: Android 10 — the biggest update to Google‘s mobile operating system is likely to be unveiled on September 3.

This follows a leak about the Android 10 or Android Q roll out date updated by Canadian carrier Rogers.

A tech media highlighted the date mentioned on its website that pegged the launch date of Android 10 to be September 3.

There is logic too-traditionally Google releases Android versions at the start of September with many security patches.

This year, the first Monday of September happened to be Labor Day in the United States and Google opted for the day after.

The launch of “Q OS” (Android 10) will apply to all mobile Pixel brands owned by Google on Sept. 3.

They will include Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL who may get the Android 10 update on September 3.

The leak looks reliable since Google also said during the release of the final beta for Android 10 in early August that the public release was “just a few weeks away.” It was to be the biggest update in the 11-year history of Android.

However, it is certain that all versions of the Pixel, Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 will get the first wave of the new mobile operating system.

Manufacturers like Samsung and Sony who are using Android may receive the new OS in the coming weeks.
