KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index dropped by 51.37 points (1.91%) on Monday, closing at 2,630.91, following a loss of 33.42 points in the previous session.

The market opened at 2,684 and experienced fluctuations, reaching a high of 2,684.32 and a low of 2,622.76 during the day.

The total turnover for the day was Rs. 5.93 billion, with 67,648 transactions involving 12,745,777 shares from 304 companies.

The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 4.36 trillion, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 1.44 trillion.
