Husband killed, wife and son injured in Gulmi accident



GULMI: One person died, and five others were injured in a vehicle accident in Gulmi last evening, according to the District Police Office, Gulmi.

Rabin Kumar Shrees, 45, from Resunga Municipality-8, died when the vehicle (Sudur Paschim Province 1001 Ja 1385), traveling from Butwal towards Deurali in Gulmi, crashed in Dajakot, Musikot Municipality-4.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shankar Pokharel, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi, stated that Shrees suffered severe injuries in the accident and passed away during treatment at Gulmi Hospital.

Shrees’ wife, 38-year-old Basanti, and their 8-year-old son were also injured in the crash.

Additionally, the driver, 24-year-old Deepak Sunar of Deurali, Musikot Municipality-2, Gulmi, along with Madhav Acharya, and Ganga Bhattarai, both from the same area, were injured.

The injured individuals were referred to Palpa for further treatment after receiving initial care at Gulmi Hospital.
