Protesters disrupt airport in Hong Kong

HONG KONG: Protesters gathered outside Hong Kong airport disrupting the travel on Sunday in a bid to draw global attention to their fight for democracy in Hong Kong.

The financial hub is currently its biggest political crisis in decades.

Passengers at the airport, however, continued to enter or leave the terminal freely, and planes still taking off and landing.

Meanwhile, trains to the airport were suspended today as protesters asked the public to overwhelm road links to the airports. (Agencies)
