Maoist Center calls Standing Committee meeting



KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center has called a meeting of its Standing Committee meeting on December 12.

A meeting of the party’s office bearers held on Thursday morning at the residence of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in Khumaltar decided to hold a meeting of Standing Committee to discuss current politics.

It should be noted that the Maoist Center has concluded that the party’s decision to contest the upcoming elections independently, without forming an alliance, has received widespread approval from the public.

The meeting stated that the Maoists had garnered positive public support across the country.
