Paras Khadka asks fans without tickets to watch NPL inaugural match at home

KATHMANDU: Paras Khadka, Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), has appealed to spectators who do not have tickets for the inaugural match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Saturday to watch the game via television or digital platforms instead.

In a social media post on Friday, Secretary Khadka asked fans without tickets to refrain from calling or messaging for passes to the game.

He emphasized the importance of respecting the limited seating capacity and infrastructure.

Khadka wrote: “As all tickets and VIP passes for the first match of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), have been sold out, we request everyone’s understanding and cooperation.”

He added, “We ask those without tickets to watch the match from home on television or through digital platforms. We also ask that you refrain from calling or messaging for passes.”

CAN has sold a total of 10,000 tickets for the inaugural NPL match, all of which were sold out by Wednesday.

For the opening match, 800 VIP tickets were sold, and 9,200 general tickets were made available.

Ticket prices for the inaugural match are set at Rs 300 for general admission and Rs 700 for VIP seats.

For the league matches, ticket prices will be Rs 300 for general admission and Rs 500 for VIP tickets.

Playoff tickets will be priced at Rs 500 and Rs 700, and for the final match, general tickets will cost Rs 500, while VIP tickets will be priced at Rs 1,000.
