Weather expected to remain fair today



KATHMANDU: Westerly wind is currently having a partial impact across the country, resulting in partly cloudy weather in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country experiences fair conditions.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas and fair elsewhere this afternoon.

Light rain is anticipated in one or two locations within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with light snowfall possible in select areas of the high hills and mountainous regions.

Tonight, the weather is expected to continue partly cloudy in the hilly regions and fair throughout the rest of the country.

Light rain may occur in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with light snowfall expected in a few areas of the high hills and mountains over the next 24 hours.

In light of these conditions, the Department urges all individuals and stakeholders to exercise caution, as weather conditions may partially impact agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, and both road and air transport.
