UML’s Manandhar submits candidacy for Kirtipur Mayor



KATHMANDU: Surendra Manandhar, on behalf of the ruling CPN-UML, officially submitted his candidacy for the position of Mayor of Kirtipur in the by-election to be held on December 1.

On the day of the nomination, CPN-UML leaders and supporters gathered at the Election Commission.

Manandhar, a central committee member of CPN-UML, is running for the mayoral position in Kirtipur for the first time.

Additionally, Harsha Maharjan has been nominated as the candidate for Ward no. 1, while Badri Budhathoki has been nominated for Ward no. 4.
