Today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Saturday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US Dollar is 134.74 Nepalese Rupees, while the selling rate is 135.34 Rupees. The value of the US Dollar has remained the same as yesterday’s.

The value of the Euro stands at a buying rate of 142.51 Rupees, with the selling rate fixed at 143.15 Rupees. This reflects a slight increase from yesterday’s rate of 141.61 Rupees for buying and 142.24 Rupees for selling.

For the Pound Sterling, the buying rate is 170.87 Rupees, and the selling rate is 171.63 Rupees. Similarly, the Swiss Franc is valued at 151.84 Rupees for buying and 152.51 Rupees for selling.

The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of 87.25 Rupees and a selling rate of 87.64 Rupees.

For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is 8.67 Rupees, and the selling rate is 8.71 Rupees. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of 18.64 Rupees and a selling rate of 18.72 Rupees.

The Saudi Riyal’s exchange rate stands at 35.88 Rupees for buying and 36.04 Rupees for selling. The Qatari Riyal is valued at 36.96 Rupees for buying and 37.13 Rupees for selling.

Meanwhile, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of 3.87 Rupees and a selling rate of 3.88 Rupees. The UAE Dirham is priced at 36.68 Rupees for buying and 36.85 Rupees for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit’s rates are set at 30.14 Rupees for buying and 30.27 Rupees for selling.

For the Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is 438.24 Rupees, while the selling rate is 440.19 Rupees. The Bahraini Dinar is priced at 357.47 Rupees for buying and 359.06 Rupees for selling.

The central bank stated that these rates could be revised at any time as necessary. It also clarified that commercial banks might offer different rates, with the latest updates available on the NRB’s official website.
