Nepali parkour athlete Sunar receives International Mother Teresa Award

KATHMANDU: Dinesh Sunar, a renowned Nepali parkour athlete and Guinness World Record holder has received the International Mother Teresa Award 2024.

The Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust recently presented this prestigious award to Sunar in New Delhi, India for his exceptional contributions to society, it is said.

“I am beyond honored and deeply humbled to receive the International Mother Teresa Award 2024, presented by the Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust,” Sunar said upon receiving the honor.

Sunar is the first person from Nepal to win the Award. He has already set multiple world records, represented Nepal globally through sports, and has roles in promoting social welfare, education, and cultural preservation.

It is learned that the International Mother Teresa Award honors individuals embodying Mother Teresa’s spirit of compassion, selflessness, and service.
