KATHMANDU: A flyover is under construction at Balambu in Kathmandu, designed to connect the Kathmandu-Nagadhunga-Naubise Tunnel with Tribhuvan Rajpath.

This project aims to alleviate traffic jams caused by vehicles turning from Rajpath to tunnel.

The flyover will be 128 meters long and 7 meters wide, ensuring smooth traffic flow for vehicles entering and exiting the valley.

The 2,667-meter-long Balambu-Sisnekhola tunnel has already been completed.

Within a year, construction of the tunnel was finished, and it is now ready for vehicles to use.
