Businessmen submit concept paper before PM Oli



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepal Industry and Businessmen (FENIE) has submitted a 40-page concept paper to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, covering the common issues of the private sector regarding the improvement of national economy.

While meeting the Prime Minister Oli at his official residence, Baluwatar on Monday, the delegation including Bhagirath Sapkota, the coordinator of the Federation, organization close to the UML, submitted the concept paper.

The concept paper included the findings generated from the discussion programme organized by the Federation on August 23. It had dwelt on problems faced by the private sectors.

The recommendation letter mentioned that the country’s economy and industrialists were facing tough situation and the government needs to make policy reforms immediately.

On that occasion, Prime Minister Oli said that the government was working in a planned way to improve the economy, while the industrialists should also work from their sides to boost production and productivity.

He suggested ensuring exemplary behavior by the organizations’ leaders.
The organization in-charge Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, co-in-charge Rachana Khadka, PM’s economic affairs and development advisor Dr Yuvraj Khatiwada were also present on the occasion.
