Sports crucial to earn national repute: DPM Singh



PATAN (LALITPUR): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has said role of sports sector is important in earning reputation to the country.

He underlined that the sports play a significant role in transforming society for nation building.

At a concluding ceremony of Bir Ganesh Man Fourth National Tennis Championship organized by the Ganesh Man Singh Foundation here today, he mentioned that sports also help in developing disciplined human resources.

Similarly, Secretary of the Nepal Tennis Association, Malika Rana, argued that it has helped produce players as well as show talent through various championships.

Executive Committee member of the Foundation, Bhaskar Man Singh, thanked all organizations who supported to convene the championship.
