SAFF U-15 C’ship: Nepal taking on Bangladesh today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Bangladesh in the third match of the fifth edition of SAFF U-15 Football Championship today. Nepal is under pressure to beat Bangladesh to secure berth among top two teams.

Nepal, currently, is in the third position in points table with three points from two games, Bangladesh in second position with six points and India in first position with equal six points.

Nepal had lost to India by five goals in the first match and defeated Sri Lanka by two goals.

Nepal will play Bhutan in the last match on Thursday. A total of five teams – Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal are taking part in the SAFF U-19 tournament.

The tournament is underway at Kalyani  of  West Bengal  State of India.
