NEPSE Index declines by 47.44 points



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index on Sunday closed at 2,697.91 points, reflecting a drop of 47.44 points, or 1.72 percent, from the previous day’s close.

In the last session, the index had a slight increase of 2.47 points.

Today’s trading began with the index at 2,733.35, dipping to an intraday low of 2,689.46 and peaking at 2,748.78.

During the session, 315 stocks were traded across 88,714 transactions, with a total of 20,868,919 shares exchanged, leading to an overall turnover of Rs. 8.18 billion.
