KP Oli is key architect of widespread corruption: Rabi

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has accused Prime Minister KP Oli of being a key figure in the corruption that plagues the nation.

His remarks came as he appeared at the Kaski District Court following his arrest in a co-operative fraud case.

Lamichhane, who was taken to Pokhara, claimed that PM Oli has consistently caused suffering for the people and has framed him in a false case for the past year and a half.

He argued that the government must be brought down, asserting that PM Oli continues to target innocent individuals.

As a former Home Minister, Lamichhane stated, “If you spend a year and a half investigating KP Oli like I have, you will find that he is the most corrupt person in the country. I reiterate my strong faith in the judicial system.”

Lamichhane emphasized his commitment to the court process, adding, “This is their final attempt to seize control and maintain power, perpetuating misery for the people.”

He added, “The time has come to end their tactics of ensnaring good citizens. I urge Nepali citizens in Pokhara and abroad to unite and stand against this government.”
