Dashain holidays conclude; govt offices reopen today

KATHMANDU: With the conclusion of the Bada Dashain public holidays, government offices have reopened today.

These offices have been closed since the day of Phulpati.

The government had declared a five-day holiday to celebrate Dashain.

With the reopening of offices, the hustle and bustle in the federal capital, Kathmandu, has increased.

This year, nearly 1.3 million people left the Kathmandu Valley for the festivities.
