NOC slashes price of aviation fuel for Bhairahawa and Pokhara Airports

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the price of aviation fuel for international flights departing from Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa and Pokhara International Airport.

During a board meeting, the NOC decided to lower the price of aviation fuel at the Bhairahawa and Pokhara fuel depots by USD 91 and USD 76 per kiloliter, respectively. The new pricing will take effect at midnight.

Previously, aviation fuel for international flights at these depots was priced at USD 860 per kiloliter.

Following the price cut, the cost will now be USD 769 per kiloliter at Bhairahawa and USD 784 per kiloliter at Pokhara.

According to the corporation, this reduction is part of the initiative to implement the “Complete Improvement of Nepal’s Civil Aviation Sector and Action Plan for the Operation of Gautam Buddha International Airport and Pokhara International Airport,” which was approved by the Council of Ministers.
