HONG KONG: Hong Kong police on Sunday deployed water cannon against protesters.

Two cannon vehicles were used to disperse crowds and clear barricades in the Tsuen Wan district, media reports have said.

Police fired tear gas on the protestors. Meanwhile, protesters threw projectiles and petrol bombs on the police.

Images on various social media platforms have showed water-cannon vehicles being driven through the streets of Hong Kong.
