2 dead in SUV accident in Humla

KATHMANDU: Two people, including a six-year-old boy, were killed when a Bolero fell into a ravine in Tanjkot Rural Municipality-4, Humla.

The accident occurred at Tirthasaina when the SUV, numbered Lu 1 J 2343, lost control fell some 300 meters down a slope.

DSP Ravindra Khanal confirmed that 49-year-old Bishnu Pariyar from Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-20 and six-year-old Abhishek Budha from Changkheli Rural Municipality-6 in Humla died at the scene.

Pariyar was on his way home from Simkot to celebrate Dashain, while Budha was accompanying him, headed to his maternal uncle.
