Petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel prices drop ahead of festival season

KATHMANDU: As the festive season approaches, the price of fuel in Nepal has decreased. The Nepal Oil Corporation has announced reductions in the prices of petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, and kerosene.

Effective from midnight tonight, petrol prices will drop by Rs. 1, diesel by Rs. 2, aviation fuel by Rs. 6 per 1,000 liters (for domestic) and by Rs. 45 per 1,000 liters (for international), and kerosene by Rs. 2.

According to the corporation, the price of LP gas has increased by NPR 41 Nepalese rupees from India and has been kept unchanged for the festive season.

The price reductions are expected to provide relief to consumers as they prepare for the festivities. The Oil Corporation has also assured that there will be no issues with fuel supply during the festival.
