FNJ calls national meeting of its province, district chairs



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has issued a circular to the province and district chairs including all chapter and associate committees for attending a national gathering scheduled to take place on October 5 in Bode of Bhaktapur.

The gathering is going to be held considering specific circumstances arising within the umbrella organization of journalists in the aftermath of its 27th General Convention.

The national meet will commence at 9:00 am, the FNJ said in the circular today.

A meeting of the FNJ Central Committee members, province and district chairs held in a hybrid model on September 25 agreed to hold the national meet in the given date bearing in mind the post General Convention-developments.

The national meet is to be organized in accordance with Clause 35 (7) of the FNJ Statue-2060 BS (Fifth Amendment 2075), it is said.
