PARSA: Police have arrested an Indian national with 250,000 Indian currency notes.

Acting on a tip-off a police team deployed from District Police Office, Parsa arrested Mithilesh Kumar Raya, 36, of Bihar, India from Birgung-16.

Raya was arrested while he was heading to India and has been handed over to the Revenue Investigation Office, Bara for further investigation.

Carrying such a huge amount of Indian currency notes is illegal in Nepal.
