Bhusal, Hamal, and Basnet nominated as senior leaders of CPN (Unified Socialist)



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has nominated three members as senior leaders of the party.

During a Central Committee meeting, Bhedu Ram Bhusal, Pramesh Hamal, and Ghanendra Basnet were selected for the role.

Earlier, at the party’s 10th General Convention held in Ashad, Madhav Kumar Nepal was elected as Chairman, Jhalnath Khanal as Respected Leader, and Ghanshyam Bhusal as General Secretary.

An election was held on Tuesday to choose the remaining Central Committee and Politburo members.

The leaders nominated as senior leaders had previously staked their claim for the position of Senior Vice Chairman within the party.
