CPN (Unified Socialist) publishes final candidate list for party election



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has published the final list of candidates vying for various positions within the party.

The election, scheduled for Tuesday, will select 17 office bearers and 105 politburo members.

The party will elect 6 Vice Chairmen, 4 Deputy General Secretaries, and 7 Secretaries.

A total of 15 candidates are competing for the 6 Vice Chairman positions, while 19 are vying for the 4 Deputy General Secretary positions.

Additionally, Ram Kumari Jhakri and Jayanti Devi Rai are competing for the position of Female Vice Chairman, while Rajendra Prasad Pandey has been elected unopposed as the Senior Vice Chairman.
