Nepal advances to SAFF U20 Championship finals after beating Bhutan in penalty shootout (with photos)



KATHMANDU: Nepal advanced to the finals of the SAFF U20 Championship after defeating Bhutan in a penalty shootout.

The semi-final match, held on Sunday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, ended with Nepal winning 4-1 in the tie-breaker.

The match went to penalties after both teams scored 1-1 during regular time.

As the home team, Nepal will now face the winner of the second semi-final between India and Bangladesh.

The second semi-final is scheduled for Monday.
