KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament will meet today at 1 pm.

During the session, the Speaker will update the membership of the thematic committees within the House of Representatives.

Prime Minister KP Oli is set to respond to questions from parliamentarians, as outlined in paragraph 9 of the Rules of the House of Representatives, 2079.

Parliamentarian Dr. Toshima Karki will raise a matter of public importance regarding the “Prediction, control, and rapid response to potential health crises resulting from a cholera epidemic,” calling for the Minister of Health and Population’s attention.

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will introduce the ‘Securities (First Amendment) Bill, 2081’.

The meeting will also address MP Prem Suwal’s notice of opposition concerning the proposal to introduce the Financial Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081, which will be presented for a decision.
