Ministry for Energy demands Rs 380 million with Finance Ministry

KATHMANDU: The Ministry for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has demanded Rs 380 million with the Ministry for Finance for the reconstruction of irrigation infrastructures damaged in different parts of the country.

During a press meet organized at the Ministry on Thursday, Minister Barshaman Pun said they have written to Finance Ministry for the necessary budget.

He said that the amount was necessary as a part of an immediate plan and Rs 2.11 billion is necessary for a long-term reconstruction plan.
