PM Oli confident of passing TRC Bill in parliament today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed confidence that the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) bill will be passed by the House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday.

In his address to the HoR, PM Oli emphasized that this development marks a significant step towards conflict resolution in Nepal.

“The bill will be passed in today’s HoR meeting, and the National Assembly will follow suit shortly,” he stated.

PM Oli assured that justice will be delivered to the victims of the Maoist conflict with their consent.

He also highlighted Nepal’s peace process as a model for the world.
