Madhesh Chief Minister Singh dismisses 8 State Ministers

JANAKPURDHAM: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has dismissed eight State Ministers.

This decision comes in response to widespread criticism regarding the formation of a jumbo cabinet.

Chief Minister Singh stated that the dismissals were made based on recommendations from the parties involved in the government.

Chief Minister Singh had earlier appointed Rekha Thakur, Neelam Kumari Rajak, Rambabu Yadav, Shambhu Sah, and Mohammad Zayed Alam as Ministers of State.

Previously, Keshav Rai, Sharada Devi Thapa, and Ranju Kumari Mandal Khang had also been appointed as Ministers of State.

Following these changes, the Madhesh province cabinet will now consist of 12 ministers, including the Chief Minister.
