Road subsidence disrupts transportation at Daunne section of East-West Highway 



NAWALPARASI: Transportation at Daunne in Nawalpur was disrupted last night due to road subsidence.

Only one-way traffic is currently allowed on the Daunne section of the East-West Highway as repair work is underway.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel, the road caved in at Daunne, located in Binay Triveni Rural Municipality-2.

Partial road operations are expected to continue until 1:00 PM today, with maintenance efforts ongoing to prevent further damage.

Drivers are advised to use alternative routes until the repairs are completed.
