KATHMANDU: In response to growing concerns about the selection process for migrant laborers heading to Israel, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security has formed an investigation committee.

The committee was established following public concerns regarding the authenticity of documents submitted during the selection process.

Israel is set to welcome migrant laborers from Nepal for the caregiver sector.

According to a press statement from the Ministry, the committee will verify the authenticity of the submitted documents and ensure that the selection process is both reliable and transparent.

The five-member committee is led by Under Secretary Meghnath Rimal.
