Woman who jumped into Narayani River with her children rescued

BARDAGHAT:  A women who jumped along with two children into the Narayani River has been rescued. However, her children have drowned.

Sudha Bishwakarma, 24, of Palhinandan Rural Municipality-5, Nawalparasi West had jumped into the Narayani River with her son and daughter from the bridge located over the barrage in Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-7 of Nawalparasi East.

She had jumped into the river with her two and a half years old son Abhinath and one and a half years old daughter Nikita.

Police said Sudha was rescued but her son and daughter lost their lives. Sudha’s husband is a police personnel.
