United Socialist holding Central Committee meeting

KATHMANDU: Unified Socialist party is holding a meeting of its Central Committee today.

The party had on Wednesday formed a three-member task force to address the incomplete composition of the Central Committee.

The task force is comprised of party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, respected leader Jhalanath Khanal, and General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal.

Their task is to finalize the appointments for all positions within the Central Committee.

According to the party statute, the central committee is to include 299 members and 21 office bearers.
