PM Oli issues directives for Dharahara operation, rail, and waterways projects



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, issued a 26-point directive to the ministry secretaries on Tuesday.

During the session, PM Oli emphasized that the current government, formed under special circumstances through an alliance between UML and Nepali Congress, must succeed at all costs.

PM Oli stated that the government was established to ensure smooth public service, development, prosperity, and good governance.

Among the directives, he called for the immediate operation of Dharahara, a historical tower in Kathmandu.

Additionally, PM Oli instructed the secretaries to develop plans and projects for building railways and waterways in the country.

He also highlighted the importance of focusing on the development and utilization of hydropower as an alternative to fossil fuels.
