RSP warns against unfounded accusations toward Deputy Speaker

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has cautioned against leveling unfounded accusations against Deputy Speaker Indira Rana.

Speaking during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), RSP lawmaker Sumana Shrestha warned Nepali Congress (NC) cautioned against leveling unfounded accusations against Rana.

Shrestha’s cautuone came after Nepali Congress lawmaker Ramhari Khatiwada called for an investigation into Deputy Speaker Rana.

“If we’re discussing conduct, let’s consider everyone. Accusing someone of serious offenses like human trafficking without evidence — is that fair? What about those involved in like the Bhutanese refugees?” she asked.
