TIKAPUR: Tikapur Hospital has commenced its Hemodialysis service, marking a significant milestone after a prolonged anticipation.
Dr. Sandesh Pandit, who spearheaded the initiative with an investment of 40 million rupees, expressed his satisfaction.
The hospital has trained one specialist doctor, four nursing staff members, and two assistants to manage the service.
Dr. Pandit mentioned, “Once fully operational, we can comfortably accommodate four patients daily. It will take some time to reach full capacity.”
The introduction of dialysis services at Tikapur Hospital has brought considerable relief to local patients.
Previously, many had to travel to Dhangadhi or Nepalgunj for treatment, some even opting to undergo dialysis in Kathmandu.
