Govt blacklists four construction companies

KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office, operating under the Prime Minister’s Office, has taken action against four construction companies from different districts, blacklisting them due to project delays.

In a notification issued today (Wednesday), the office announced that these companies have been barred from participating in government contracts for a period ranging from six months to two years.

The decision follows repeated warnings and recommendations from various agencies urging their blacklisting.

The companies affected include BS Bhairabh Shakti Nirman Sewa, Doti; and Masta JBD Conduction Engineering, Kathmandu; Bhatinda Ceramics (P) Ltd.

The office has advised against entering into any new agreements or transactions with these blacklisted entities during the specified period.
