Nepali Congress issues whip for lawmakers to vote against PM Dahal’s confidence motion

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has issued a whip directing its lawmakers to vote against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s confidence motion.

This directive comes as PM Dahal plans to seek a vote of confidence on Friday.

Nepali Congress has instructed its lawmakers to be present and cast their votes against Dahal during the upcoming session.

Similarly, CPN-UML, another major party in the federal parliament, has also issued a whip requiring its lawmakers to vote against PM Dahal.

The alliance between Nepali Congress and CPN-UML aims to oust the Dahal-led government and form new administrations at both the federal and provincial levels.
